"My relationship with Western Medical Clinic began in childhood, when my mother took me to the original location at 144 6th St. to see Dr. Gary Lindsay. Little could I have imagined that first visit would mark the beginning of a relationship spanning more than 50 years—through childhood, adulthood, loss, and every chapter in between.

 

Over the decades, I have been fortunate to receive care from just three family physicians: Dr. Gary Lindsay, Dr. Michael Davis, and now Dr. Jordan Cockerill. The passing of Dr. Lindsay, the loss of Dr. Davis during the COVID-19 pandemic, and, most recently, the loss of my friend Dr. Andrew Seitz have reminded me how deeply personal these relationships become and how lasting their impact can be.

 

I am especially grateful for Dr. Cockerill’s excellent and compassionate care, as well as the kindness of the reception staff, particularly Suzanne. Behind the scenes, Karol and the nursing staff contribute so much to each patient’s care and comfort. Their familiar faces bring connection, reassurance, and a sense of belonging to every visit.

 

To me, Western Medical Clinic represents far more than medical care. It represents trust, continuity, compassion, and it has been  a reassuring constant throughout my life. After more than 50 years, I feel truly fortunate to have been part of the clinic’s story and grateful that it will continue to be part of my journey."
